What about a 7500lb RWB class or are you trying to keep the diesels out and just let the gassers pull?

I know I would pull in the RWB class if I could meet the weight requirements. I would have done it last year but I was not sure if my truck was going to hold up since I had broken it the previous 2 pulls. Would this be a consideration if there are not very many gas trucks for the RWB class.

its not that we are just going for the gas trucks. we are trying some new things so see how they work. thank you for showing some interest in a 7500# i will add it to my notes to discuss for next year. i would guess if time permits we will have a class for mod diesel trucks if they show. like i said big thing is "if time permits" are you saying that your truck will not meet the street stock rules and you would like to pull? let me know
thanks
Ryan

No actually if my truck doesn't meet street stock diesel rules there is something wrong since I actually drove my truck there last year and won the diesel class and drove it home. I might even pull my dads D21 up on the trailer and bring it up this year also.
I was just asking about the run what you brung class. There is not a single diesel truck that I know of that is that light. I could probably get mine down to 7250 but that's about it without pulling interior and batteries and things. I Just thought you might have a bigger class if the weight limit was higher. I just thought I would throw in my .02, I would donate my money to pull in the class if I could meet the weight requirements and probably there would be a few other diesels that would too. I don't know how the gassers feel about that but if your having a RWB class diesels can't get that light to hook in a weight class that low.
BTW the name is Matt Blanchard

i guess my question is, would you rather see the 8000# class instead of the 6200#? or do you want this class in addition to the 6200#?
Nice pull tonight @ Mansfield mike. truck looks good!

In addition too. I was thinking about a vote at the drivers meeting. But a lot of people arent going to show up just to see if they have a class.
The Mansfield run was a little ruff in the middle but it all worked out. Thanks
They had a great show everything really went smooth.

Ryan I personally would like to see an 8000# RWB class. I think there would be a lot more people interested. That way you could have gas and diesel in the same class. 7500-8000lb. Open 4x4 gas/diesel (RWYB) (2009) 1. 26" hitch max 2. All safety shields bellhousings, blankets and kill switches required. 3. No crying!!!!! Rules provided by: PERFORMANCE TRUCK & TRACTOR PULLING SERIES
The truck is working well just needs a little more fuel hopefully I can get something figured out by the time Bellville rolls around.
